Public archeology and mediation

For us, it is important to contribute to the build-up of knowledge in the counties where we operate. The knowledge we gather through our archaeological and cultural-historical missions, we therefore see as important to share with others. Every year, we carry out a large number of communication and information initiatives linked to the archaeological projects we carry out. The efforts can be both physical and digital.

Above all, you can take part in that knowledge through archaeological reports, but also through the popular science articles and publications that are sometimes produced as part of our projects. We also write scientific articles and create digital guides. In some cases, we also make digital displays of places that are difficult for the public to access or hold lectures. In this way, we contribute to as many people as possible being able to take part in our common cultural heritage. The findings we collect during the surveys end up in the museum's collections and magazines. Some you can see in the Digital Museum or in one of the museum's exhibitions.

Below you see some of the public projects and digital initiatives we worked on.
