Admission tickets

  • We have always free entrance for children and young people up to 19 years of age.
  • Adult: SEK 130
  • Student/retired: SEK 95
  • With heritage card: SEK 65
  • Member of local association: SEK 75

Accompanying teachers/educators to school classes have free entry. 

Accompanying a guest with a disability has free entry.

Buy an entrance ticket

Season ticket

The annual pass gives you free entry every time you visit us for a year from the day you buy it. The annual pass is personal. With an annual pass, you can also buy tickets at a discounted price to all of our lectures.

  • Student/retired: SEK 400
  • Adult: SEK 500
  • Family (2 adults): SEK 600

With our entrance ticket you get access to all the museum's exhibitions. You can also follow along on any guided tours which we offer on the day you visit us. 

All visitors need to have a valid entrance ticket, including children and young people up to 19 years of age who enter for free. Therefore, consider booking an entrance ticket for them as well. 

Restaurant and Café Ångkvarnen

Admission to Restaurang & Kafé Ångkvarnen is always free if you just want to have a coffee or have lunch. 

Cashless

As of November 7, 2022, Kalmar County Museum is a cash-free museum. At the reception, the shop and in the museum's restaurant and café, you can easily pay by card or Swish.

With us, you can buy entrance tickets at the museum's reception on arrival or via our webshop.

Reception

At the reception you can buy entrance tickets upon arrival. You do not need to book your visit in advance, but come when it suits you! The ticket is valid all day.

When you buy your ticket at the reception, you can pay by card or Swish. 

Webshop

On our website you can buy tickets digitally. The tickets are dated and only valid on the selected day. As an annual ticket holder, companion or if you have some kind of free ticket or value code, or are a pensioner or student who is entitled to a discount, you can book your entrance ticket in the webshop.

When you buy your ticket in our webshop, you can pay by card (VISA, Mastercard or Maestro) or Swish. We use Bambora as a payment service provider.
