Västervik's harbor area at Skeppsholmen and Barlastudden
The cultural history investigation has been prepared to clarify which parts of the harbor's buildings should be protected, what character different parts of the harbor have and how the character can be protected, and how the buildings in the quarters Riddarhuset and Långholmen will be affected by the possible construction of a fair hall. The investigation covers the area from Skeppsbron in the north to Barlastudden in the south. The area has been inhabited since the Middle Ages until today.
