DNA research and the Crown

Genetic research on the front lines, opens up new opportunities to study the people who died on the royal ship Kronan in a close way. By studying the individual's genome, there are prerequisites for determining a person's origin and kinship, but also diseases that have left traces in DNA. In the first episode of season 2 of Kronanpodden, Professor Anders Götherström talks about archaeological DNA research and what it has contributed to telling about Kronan's crew members.
