The museum's educators
At the county museum's educational unit, people with varied backgrounds and skills work in learning, history, archaeology, journalism, visual arts, drama and textile history. We have over thirty years of experience working with children and young people and pedagogy in Sweden, locally, nationally and internationally.
Our work is based on three perspectives: cultural heritage, time travel methodology and international experiences.
We work in many areas, such as education, health, integration and social cohesion. We work inside the museum, in the county, in the country and internationally, with all ages, from preschool to old age care. We work with all ages, from the Stone Age to modern times and the future. We produce and implement educational programs, workshops, training courses and time travel/role play.
In addition, we are always interested in new ideas and challenges. Get in touch if you have questions or an idea that you want to collaborate on.
