Unique historical Kalmar county is a collaborative project that aims to develop business and association life and create new unique tourism products with cultural heritage as a resource as well as develop existing ones. The project arranges a variety of activities based on visitor destination development through site development. Ten different locations in the county have been selected and given the opportunity to participate in the initiative, which is ongoing throughout 2022. In Kalmar municipality, the location Rockneby has been selected. Here there is an exciting cultural heritage, great reasons to visit, an active community life together with a burgeoning business community. In connection with that, the exhibition format "Spot on" is shown, which makes the site's cultural heritage visible and tells about Rockneby's exciting transport history through the ages.

- The exhibition aims both to promote the place as a destination and to get residents and visitors to experience all that the cultural heritage in Rockneby has to offer, but also to increase collaboration and the interest of companies and associations in how they can use Rockneby's cultural heritage and that knowledge to develop their own businesses, says Maja Heuer, project manager Unique historical Kalmar county.

The exhibition is shown during the period 5-13 November 2022.
