TV celebrity at the cultural heritage seminar in Oskarshamn

The well-known historian and author Gunnar Wetterberg, known from, among other things, SVT's Fråga Lund, will lecture at this year's cultural heritage seminar in Oskarshamn on Tuesday, November 23, 2021.

Gunnar Wetterberg is a highly regarded TV personality and has an impressive career behind him. In addition, he is a forest owner and has, among other things, written the books "Trees: a walk in the Swedish forest" and "Ingenjörnerna" most recently. At the seminar, he will give his perspective on the forest and the people - from Hedenhös to the present day.

About the cultural heritage seminar

The cultural heritage seminar is the nineteenth in the series and this year's theme is the forest. There will be lectures on various topics and perspectives with the forest as a common denominator. It is about, among other things, tar burning, the benefits of fatty wood, cultural remains in the forest and the future of the forestry industry, what beings there are in the forest and forest bathing.

The seminar is organized by the Kalmar County Museum and the County Board of Kalmar County.
