Time travel for preschoolers
In this project, the Kalmar County Museum and the Kalmar County Home Association have carried out time travel with preschools in their home environment. With time travel as a method, the children get the opportunity for a fantastic generational meeting with the help of the museum and the local home village association. Through time travel, the children learn about their own history and get an experience for the place where they live! Kalmar county museum brings clothes and props and the local community association stands for premises, knowledge and non-profit time.
Within the project, the Kalmar county museum and the Kalmar county home association are carrying out 12 time trips, one in each municipality. The project is primarily aimed at the small towns and the local preschool that is closest to the homestead.
