Road widening at Skarpa Alby

The Kalmar County Museum's effort to report on its older archaeological investigations includes some from the 1950s and 1960s. Road paving at Skarpa Alby is one of these. Prior to planned improvement works along the eastern highway, in 1959 and 1960 the Kalmar county museum had carried out two archaeological investigations of the ancient remains that would be affected, RAÄ 7 and 13 in Sandby parish on the eastern side of Öland. The results from these have not previously been reported. Download report
