Tickets and prices
Kalmar county museum is a cashless museum. You can pay your entrance ticket, or annual pass, on site in the museum via debit or credit card and Swish. You can also pre-purchase your ticket via our webshop.
Entrance fees
- Regular price: SEK 130
- Student/retired: 95 kr
- Member of local association: SEK 85
- Free entrance under 19 years of age.
With our entrance ticket you get access to all the museum's exhibitions.
It is free for everyone to visit our restaurant.
Do you want to visit the museum more than three times a year? Then it pays to buy an annual pass.
Discounted admission
As the holder of The cultural heritage card (svensktkulturarv.se, new window) you have 50 percent on the entrance fee.

Season ticket
The annual pass gives you free entry every time you visit us for a year from the day you buy it. The annual pass is personal. With an annual pass, you can also buy tickets at a discounted price to all of our lectures.

- Adult: SEK 500
- Family (2 adults): SEK 600
Tickets
The entrance ticket is valid for the entire museum including all exhibitions for one day.
Booked lectures, screenings and other program items
Entrance to many of our program points is free, but for some you need to buy a seat ticket in advance. You can see what applies to the various events on the respective pages in the calendar.
This is how you buy your ticket
With us, you can buy entrance tickets at the museum's reception on arrival or via our webshop. You can buy an entrance ticket digitally until 8:00 a.m. on the day you plan to come.

Reception
At the reception you can buy entrance tickets upon arrival. You do not need to book your visit in advance, but come when it suits you! The ticket is valid all day.
When you buy your ticket at the reception, you can pay by card or Swish.
Webshop
On our website you can buy tickets digitally. The tickets are dated and only valid on the selected day. You can buy an entrance ticket digitally until 8:00 a.m. on the day you plan to come.
As an annual ticket holder, companion or if you have some kind of free ticket or value code, or are a pensioner or student who is entitled to a discount, you can book your entrance ticket in the web shop.
All visitors need to have a valid entrance ticket, including children and young people up to 19 years of age who enter for free. Therefore, consider booking an entrance ticket for them as well.
When you buy your ticket in our webshop, you can pay by card (VISA, Mastercard or Maestro) or Swish. We use Bambora as a payment service provider.
