Gustav Vasa

Gustav Vasa's costume is based on several different works of art. It consists of a coat in black velvet with touches of gold brocade on the sides and sleeves, gold lining and a large faux fur collar. This is worn over an orange skirt in brocade-patterned fabric decorated with gold colored ribbons and a white linen shirt underneath. Black velvet breeches with a light beige imitation silk lining are worn over long white stockings. On the head a beret in black velvet decorated with gold bands. Loose shoe buckles belong to the costume.
